You're as comfortable designing prompt engineering strategies as you are building robust data pipelines, and you love collaborating with teams to bring AI-powered features from concept to production through intelligent integration rather than model training.

Your day-to-day will include:

• Designing and implementing AI agent systems that coordinate multiple AI services and tools

• Building robust data scraping solutions to gather and process information from diverse online sources

• Engineering sophisticated prompting strategies and implementing guard rails for reliable AI behavior

• Developing agent-to-agent communication protocols and orchestration frameworks

• Setting up and maintaining MCP (Model Context Protocol) infrastructure for enhanced AI capabilities

• Creating APIs and microservices to integrate AI functionalities into existing architectures

• Building intuitive interfaces that make AI features accessible to non-technical users

• Implementing conversation flows and context management for multi-turn AI interactions

• Optimizing prompt chains and ensuring consistent, reliable AI responses

• Developing monitoring and quality assurance systems for AI agent performance

• Collaborating with teams to translate business requirements into AI-powered solutions

• Staying current with AI platform developments and evaluating new integration possibilities

Qualifications - Don't worry if you don't tick all the boxes. We're interested to see what else you bring to the table

• You are based and allowed to work in Belgium

• You speak English and preferably Dutch

• You have 3+ years of relevant experience showing

A proven track record in:

• Full-stack development with modern frameworks and languages

• Building and deploying AI-integrated applications in production environments

• API development and microservices architecture

• Web scraping and data extraction techniques

• Cloud-native development and containerization

• Database design and optimization (SQL and NoSQL)

Knowledge of:

• Prompt engineering principles and best practices

• LLM capabilities and limitations

• AI agent architectures and orchestration patterns

• Web scraping technologies and ethical data collection

• API integration with various AI platforms

• Context management and conversation state handling

• Guard rail implementation for AI safety and reliability

• Frontend frameworks and responsive design principles

• Backend architecture patterns and best practices

• Version control and collaborative development workflows

• CI/CD pipelines for AI-integrated applications

• Monitoring and observability for AI agent systems
