What makes you our ideal Support Engineer?
You're the Sherlock Holmes of digital problem-solving. Give you a vague error message, an obscure screenshot, and a client saying "it worked yesterday" — and you'll track down the culprit. You thrive on variety, not monotony. The idea of working on the same project for months on end? Not your thing. You'd rather jump into the fire of the moment, fix what's broken, and move on to the next challenge.
As part of our DOS team, you're the first responder when clients hit a wall. You think in two steps: stabilize first — even if it takes a clever workaround — then follow up with a structural fix. You know that a quick win today beats a perfect solution next week when a client's business is on the line.
You're comfortable shifting focus multiple times a day. Some days are intense, and yes, a bit stressful. But you also know that feeling when a grateful client thanks you at the end of the day — and suddenly, the chaos was worth it. If that sounds like your kind of energy, we can't wait to meet you.
Your day-to-day will include:
Triaging and diagnosing client-reported bugs across a variety of projects and tech stacks
Communicating directly with clients to understand issues, gather details, and guide them through solutions
Thinking on your feet to reproduce problems based on limited or unclear information
Implementing quick fixes and workarounds to stabilize issues, followed by proper structural solutions
Rapidly onboarding onto unfamiliar projects using documentation and existing codebases
Prioritizing incoming requests and managing your own queue under pressure
Collaborating with developers to escalate complex issues and ensure lasting fixes
Keeping clients informed and reassured throughout the resolution process
Qualifications - Don't worry if you don't tick all the boxes. We're interested to see what else you bring to the table
You are based and allowed to work in Belgium
You speak English and preferably Dutch
You have 3+ years of relevant experience showing
A proven track record in:
Working across frontend, backend — you're a generalist who can navigate the full stack
Understanding how users interact with websites through browsers, apps, and increasingly through AI agents
Quickly ramping up on new projects by diving into documentation and existing code
Client-facing communication in a support or service context
Knowledge of:
Modern web technologies and frameworks like NextJS, React, Astro or Gatsby
Browser developer tools and debugging techniques
Basic DevOps concepts (deployments, logs, pipelines)
Ticketing and issue-tracking systems
Headless CMS platforms and composable architectures (a plus)
Your skills:
Detective mindset — You can pinpoint root causes from minimal, sometimes cryptic clues
Two-step thinker — You stabilize first, then solve structurally
Calm under pressure — Multiple context switches per day don't faze you
Client whisperer — You communicate clearly and keep clients confident, even when things are broken
Prioritization pro — You know what's urgent, what's important, and what can wait
Team player — You collaborate smoothly with developers and project leads
Resilient — The stress of the moment fades quickly once the problem is solved
Nice-to-have knowledge:
Experience with headless CMS platforms (e.g., Contentful, Sanity, Storyblok)
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and cloud environments (Azure, AWS)
Experience working in agile teams
