Arxus is a Belgian managed cloud service provider and digital transformation partner that helps companies innovate securely in the cloud with Microsoft Azure, hybrid infrastructure, data & AI, modern workplace tools and robust security services.

When Arxus’s corporate and marketing digital presence became constrained by a traditional CMS, they teamed up with Two Point O to evolve their digital platform. Together, we co-designed and implemented a modern, scalable headless content architecture using Sanity that better supports multi-market needs, improves editorial flexibility and enables future growth without vendor lock-in.

From a traditional CMS to a modern headless content platform

Modernising a digital ecosystem isn’t just about replacing tools, it’s about building the right foundation for future growth. When Arxus set out to transform its marketing and corporate website, the goal wasn’t to “install a new CMS.” Their ambition was bigger: to step into a headless future with a flexible content platform that empowers teams, supports multi-market growth and avoids vendor lock-in.

Two Point O partnered with Arxus to shape that foundation. Co-creating a scalable headless content platform with Sanity that lifts internal maturity and prepares their digital organisation for what comes next.

Why Arxus needed more than a CMS vendor

Arxus was ready to modernise its digital presence but needed more than a supplier who could “set up a CMS.” They were looking for a partner who could guide them into a headless way of working: technically, strategically and organisationally. With a growing marketing team and a need for flexibility, speed and consistency, Arxus wanted a scalable setup that would not create new dependencies.

We were selected for our headless expertise, platform thinking and collaborative approach. We didn’t just deliver technology: we helped Arxus build a digital foundation and uplift internal maturity, ensuring their teams can evolve the platform with confidence.

When a traditional CMS becomes a limitation

Arxus’ marketing and corporate websites were built on a traditional CMS that limited autonomy for the marketing team. Content updates required technical involvement, localisation wasn't scalable and maintaining brand consistency took significant effort. Meanwhile, the market was shifting towards headless platforms and Arxus wanted to stay ahead of that curve.

The concept of headless architecture was new for several stakeholders, so clarity and joint learning were key to making the transition successful. Arxus didn’t need a CMS swap. They needed a future-proof content architecture and a scalable headless foundation.

Aligning on a headless-first future

During workshops across July and August, we aligned teams on goals, content structure, localisation and governance. This ensured the move to headless wasn’t driven by technology alone, but by a shared vision for how Arxus would create, manage and scale content going forward.

Designing a scalable headless platform with Sanity

Rather than a lift-and-shift approach, we designed a flexible content architecture in Sanity, including a thoughtful content model and an intuitive editorial experience tailored to the Arxus team.

Sanity was set up with a localisation approach that can scale with future markets. In parallel, we co-built the component library and front-end architecture in the Arxus monorepo, ensuring strong alignment between design, content and delivery.

Raising digital maturity, not dependency

This was not an outsource-and-hand-off project. It was co-creation. We worked side-by-side with Arxus developers, transferring knowledge, introducing Sanity best practices and shaping a way of working built for scale. Marketers gained insight into how headless content flows work and how to structure content for multi-channel use.

This wasn’t just a platform build, it was a mindset shift in how digital experiences are designed, structured and maintained.

A future-proof digital foundation

A scalable headless content platform designed for long-term growth:

  • Modern content architecture separating content, design and delivery for flexibility and speed

  • Component-based system ensuring consistent, on-brand experiences across pages and channels

  • Sanity setup tailored for editors, with structured content modelling and localisation

  • Co-created implementation to transfer knowledge and reduce vendor dependency

  • Future-ready foundation prepared for new markets, channels and digital experiences

Thanks to Two Point O, we now have a flexible content platform that empowers our teams, improves consistency and prepares us for future growth. It’s not just a new setup, it’s a new way of working.
