Intermezzo: Replicating a UI editor for seamless adoption
As part of the project, Bru Textiles requested a UI editor that replicated the Experience Editor from Sitecore’s traditional CMS that their team was already familiar with. This feature allowed editors to see and interact with the content they were working on, giving a visual interface for the headless area within Sitecore.
Although the editor was eventually phased out as the team grew comfortable with the headless way of editing content, Two Point O managed to mimic the entire visual editor which played a key role in earning Bru's trust as an incredibly knowledgeable and highly expert partner in the early stages of our collaboration together.
Tackling complexity with profound technical expertise
The technical challenges of this project required creative solutions that pushed boundaries and delivered tangible results.
Advanced filtering engine: Bru’s complex product setup required a custom filtering engine that integrates account data, product attributes, and configuration details from Sitecore. Unlike off-the-shelf solutions, this engine handles tailored filters for individual clients, overcoming technical challenges that other development companies deemed impossible. If you tell us something is impossible, we just pool all of our technical expertise together and we find a way to make it work - all while maintaining our high coding standards.
Scalable infrastructure: Using Terraform, 95% of the portal creation process is now automated, enabling Bru to deploy new portals with minimal effort. This efficiency supports future growth and innovation.
Secure and private: The platform ensures that no client-specific data is shared between portals using advanced security measures like token shielding, reverse proxies, and static site rendering. This level of security builds trust and confidence for all stakeholders.
Reusable frameworks: A React-based front-end architecture and component library provide Bru’s internal team with a flexible foundation for future projects, ensuring consistency and scalability across their digital ecosystem.
